(To view the podcast click on small POD button in upper left corner of this post. You may also download it from the itunes music store or from the link listed below) You know... Sometimes OccasionalFag Brian G. just gets a bee in his behind to make a boring video: something a bit too long, with repetative and poorly timed editing... Nothing much happens, becasuse sometimes -in the world, even the fabulous world of Occasional Fagdom - life is comprised of slow moments of blandness. The party the night before is over and all is quiet the morning after at The Woods campground, a LGBT clothing optional campground if you're a regular viewer here at TheOccasionalFag you seen many times before. Grab a strong cup of caffeinated anything and enjoy this snoozeworthy tribute to a very still moment in time... Comments[1]

(To view the podcast click on small POD button in upper left corner of this post. You may also download it from the itunes music store or from the link listed below) Occasional Fag Brian G. fabricates a hat and journeys to the fabled Easter Parade of New York City. Not really a parade as such, but rather a collection of individuals sporting their sunday finest on a closed off 5th Avenue between 47th and 59th streets. Enjoy! Comments[0]

(To view the podcast click on small POD button in upper left corner of this post. You may also download it from the itunes music store or from the link listed below) Winter in upon us and what better way to spend it than to watch a video of a holiday weekend in July? And yes, it took us this long to edit this piece, but what do you want for nothing more than your time to watch it? Gold stars for everyone! Here at TheOccasionalFag.com we have no budgets; all part of the fun. Actors and scripts are for people making "media", we're in this to make something akin to art. But, when we think about taking that which others might consider dross or mundane and turning it into a work of video art, here is what is going on in our minds: -Being gay isn't all about mindnumbingly thumping music or humpy shirtless men grinding against each other hours on end. Sure, these aspects of homocity have their place in the life, but there is more, even if that more is considered by most, less... -Politically, we wish our lives where as promiscuous as the Homo-hating Right - in a very telling way - makes us out to be, but they're not, and it is important to put out images of gay men being other ways than the stereotypes both negative and positive that we're bombarded with daily. Gay men can be boring, and ennui is'nt always a bad thing. Even if it bores you, our sameness to others is an important point to present. So, this video is about friends gathered in the country to enjoy a simple pleasures weekend. No script. Mostly images. The ambient music in the background of this video is from the "Twelve Munite Travelogues" podcast available on iTunes. It is used with permission (a rarity here at TheOccasionalFag...) and created by musician Joe Wall of Baltimore. More information about Joe can be found at www.sonacast.com. Enjoy! Comments[1]

It is Tuesday morning and we are in Tell City, Indiana. In just hours we will be at Holiday World riding world famous coasters The Voyage, The Raven and The Legend (ranked number 1, 6 and 11 coasters in the world!) for the very first time. Over the weekend we had our first coaster experiences of this trip at Knoebels with The Phoenix and The Twister. Occasional Fag Brian G. was near brought to tears by the incredible air-time racing over the hills on The Phoenix. Kneobels is great! Pictures of the trip to be posted on our flickr page (click link in column at right) as we can upload them. We're having a time trying to find wifi that's not slower than the new Dark Knight coasters at the Six Flags parks. Coaster love to all! Category:general
