In this episode we interview members of a relatively new group to emerge on the Queer Activist horizon, the Radical Homosexual Agenda, who describe themselves thusly: The Radical Homosexual Agenda (R.H.A.) provides grass-roots support for queer youth and adults entrenched along the frontlines of the homophobia crisis in America. Frequently recognizable by our regulation pink army helmets, we believe in education and advocacy via direct action, sensationalism, and participatory arts-n-crafts for all. With over 23,000 Google results and counting, the Radical Homosexual Agenda has long been a household name from coast to coast. - Dear David and Brian,
Excellent podcast with RHA! I was at the City Hall RHA demo. It was shocking to hear Chris Quinn\'s comments on the Brian Lehrer show before the demo, and her silence since has been devastating. What good does it do our communities to have an out queer former activist as Speaker, if this is how she behaves once she holds real power?
What does this all mean for the June 22 Drag March? Should we be reaching out to Rosie Mendez? Asking NLG to observe? Asking RHA to participate?
